Measures have been announced to tackle sexual harassment and abuse of power in the arts sector.
Culture Minister Heather Humphreys is holding a meeting next week with the leaders of eight leading theatre organisations, and will also meet members of the Arts Council.
Separately, she will set up workshops for board members and senior staff in arts organisations, focusing on how to deal with "bullying, abuse of power and sexual harassment in the workplace".
She has also announced a national consultation with the theatre sector on ways of dealing with the issues.
Minister Humphreys says she decided to take action following recent allegations, saying she was 'shocked' and felt a need to 'take a lead on this'.
The announcements come following recent complaints about Michael Colgan, the former artistic director of the Gate Theatre.
Over the past two weeks, a number of women have come forward to accuse Mr Colgan of inappropriate behaviour.
