The Cuala manager spoke after the final whistle and had this to say.

"We're just so proud of this group of players."

"Everyone put so much work in over the last three or four years."

"They (Cuala) showed huge character."

Also speaking after the game was Cuala defender Oisín Gough on how tough an opponent Na Piarsaigh are which is clear to see as the first game ended in a draw and only fine margins separating the sides in the replay.

"Na Piarsaigh came right back at us (when we went 6 points up) fair play to the lads for digging it out."

"It was a tight, hard fought battle between two of the biggest teams in Ireland."

Sean Moran who played half back for the game and was given the man of the match award gave his take on his side joining the elite sides of the game who have also won back to back All Ireland titles.

"I always have belief in this team."

"Credit the lads they never give up."

"It's incredible to be up there with those teams (Portumna & Birr) we are delighted to be able to put ourselves in that situation."
