Conor McGregor has been charged with three counts of assault and a charge of criminal mischief in New York.
He has been arrested after an attack on a bus carrying UFC contestants at the Barclay centre yesterday.
A spokesperson for the NYPD has told 98FM News The Notorious will be held in custody until he is taken to Brooklyn Criminal Court.
That will happen after 8am EST which is 1pm Irish time.
Last night it emerged The Notorious was wanted for questioning in relation to a violent attack on a bus carrying UFC contestants.
It's reported a number of people were injured, including fighter Michael Chiesa, who suffered cuts to his face.
A video on TMZ has claims to show McGregor throwing a trolley which shattered the bus's window.
