Proposed changes to traffic as part of a revamped College Green will stay as they are for the Christmas period.
It's after a decision was taken to extend the period of consultation with the public about the controversial plans.
Only public transport will be able to travel through College Green when the area in front of Trinity is given a massive facelift.

The city council says the area will facilitate major public gatherings and events through the city, with a capacity to hold up to 15,000 people.
To keep the city open for business over Christmas, DCC says the existing traffic arrangements will remain in place until the new year.
"The bus services which were diverted away from College Green during the Luas works will continue to use their current routes until the New Year when they will begin to change to using Lower Grafton Street. The existing restriction on taxis using lower Grafton Street in a northbound direction will remain in place."
Dublin City Council says pedestrian waiting times at lights will be addressed and it will work with the National Transport Authority to figure out the best way to facilitate cycling in both directions.
