Dublin salad bar chain Chopped is expanding. It's opening outlets in the Mediterranean for the first time ever.
It's after a family of entreprenuers from Cyprus and Greece first experienced the food outlet at the airport on a visit to Dublin.
The six figure deal will see two stores open in the Cypriot capital Nicosia early next year.
In a statement Chopped co-founder Brian Lee said “Irish football fans will know that Cyprus is always a difficult place to get a result, but we are confident it is the perfect place to fuel our expansion across Europe. Our new Freshly Chopped locations will serve a wide variety of customers from commercial and retail workers to the thousands of tourists who flock to Cyprus’ beautiful shores every year.
