It's the moment many have been waiting for. Cher has waded in on Irish politics.
The "International superstar and Goddess of Pop", as a press release from the Green Party so kindly referred to her as, has tweeted support for a climate change bill going through the Dáil.
The People Before Profit bill would see a pollution emergency declared and ban any new licences for drilling for fossil fuels.
Sinead Mercier, a Green Party member, tweeted Cher asking her to support the bill, and the singer replied #Hell-To-The-Yes.
The Greens are now asking if Leo Varadkar believes in life after oil.
Sinead Mercier then thanked Cher for her support, with a little help from Ireland's most famous dolphin.
Green Party Leader Eamon Ryan believes today is "shaping up to be a truly historic day for environmentalism in Ireland. The tide has turned on fossil fuels, and there is widespread political support now for a just transition to renewable power."
"If we are to keep global temperature rises below 1.5-2 degrees, avoiding climate chaos, then 80% of known fossil fuel reserves need to be left in the ground. By signing the Paris Agreement, Ireland committed to such a plan", he said.
