Traffic is heavy along the Quays this morning as Dublin workers get used to the new city centre road layouts.
Since yesterday, there's no right turn from Bachelors Walk on to O’Connell Bridge except for buses, taxis and bicycles.
General traffic is reduced to one lane from Ormond Quay Upper to Eden Quay on the northside, while on the other side of the Liffey, there will be just one lane for private vehicles between Burgh Quay and Essex Quay.
It means there's an additional bus lane on either side of the river along this stretch.
Dublin City Council says the permanent changes are being made now so that they can be embedded before the Luas Cross City Line becomes fully operational later this year.
The move is also aimed at making it easier for public transport to move through one of the biggest bottlenecks in the city.
