Drinks company Carlsberg has announced it is scrapping plastic rings on its six-pack cans.
The new Snap Pack is set to reduce plastic waste globally by more than 1,200 tonnes a year - the equivalent to 60 million plastic bags.
This is replacing the plastic wrapping used around six-packs with technology that glues its cans together.
The company says the Snap Pack has been three years in the making.
It is also switching to Cradle-to-Cradle Certified silver inks on bottle labels, to improve recyclability.
