Record numbers of passengers are expected to pass through Dublin Airport today as the terminals experience their busiest ever period.
Yesterday, 110,000 passengers arrived and departed through the airport - making it the busiest day ever at the two terminals.
Similar numbers are likely today.
Siobhan O'Donnell from the DAA is asking passenger to be prepared for security checks in advance.
She explained: "This is our busiest weekend ever in the history of the airport, with over 422,000 arriving and departing over the entire weekend.
"It is busy - we've got extra staff on duty. We've got customer care teams - they've got pink high-vis vests on, so they'll be there to help passengers get through as smoothly as possible."
Yesterday it was revealed that it's been a bumper year so far for Dublin Airport, with 29.6 million people passing through in 2018.
