The person behind the Bloggers Unveiled Instagram account says they no longer want to be involved in the page.
The account was first set up to call out influencers for not being open and honest about products they were being paid to promote.
It also called out people with a large following that weren't honest about using Photoshop or making other artificial changes to their pictures.
However, critics of the page took issue with the tone of some posts and with the direction the account ended up taking.
Speculation as to who is behind the account has been rife across social media platforms, but the person behind it still hasn't revealed who they are.
In a post on the Bloggers Unveiled Instagram account today, a person behind it said it was something they no longer "want to be involved in anymore".
"I'm removing myself from all of this. The baying for blood makes me sick", the statement read.
The post went on to say "I do not want someone else's blood on my hands".
"Things have taken a nasty, toxic, vindictive and unhealthy turn. This page is not something that I want to be involved in anymore."
Just after 12pm today, the account appeared to have been permanently deleted from Instagram, with an error message explaining it "may have been removed".
