The replay of club hurling's annual showpiece will not be played at Croke Park with the GAA announcing O'Moore Park as their chosen venue.

The All-Ireland Senior Club final between Cuala and Na Piarsaigh went to extra-time on St Patrick's Day after which they still could not be separated thanks to a last minute free from Cuala's David Treacy.

Both managers were divided over the venue for the replay which will take place on Saturday, with Cuala boss Mattie Kenny calling for Croke Park to stage the game while his Na Piarsaigh counterpart Shane O'Neill stated his belief that it should be played at Semple Stadium.

The replay will throw-in at 5:30 at the Portlaoise stadium and will be proceed by the Allianz Hurling League Division 2A final between Westmeath and Carlow which will get underway at 3:30.

Meanwhile, Croke Park will see some action with the Dublin senior footballers set to be joined by the county's hurlers there on Sunday.

Jim Gavin's men were already down to face Monaghan in the last round of Division 1 league matches at 3pm and that will now be preceded by the Division 1 quarter-final between Dublin and Tipperary in the hurling, which will throw-in 1pm.
