Irish Rail says it will be winding down its services from noon with all trains stopping by 2pm.
So for the moment all services are running with the exception of the M3 parkway to Clonsilla / Docklands and Hazelhatch to Grand Canal Dock.
Spokesperson Barry Kenny says they won't be back up and running until at least noon tomorrow, when they will reassess the situation.
"Our priority is to try and resume services as quickly as we can but it has to be safe. Our crews will be looking at whether points ways are clear and that our staff can get in."
