3 Charged After Robbery And Garda Car Ramming
3 people have been charged in connection with a robbery on Tuesday.
The burglary happened at 9:25 on Tuesday night in Cappincur near Tullamore Co. Offaly when two men entered a shop armed with a knife and a hammer.
They threatened staff but no one was injured and then fled the scene with a sum of money in a car driven by an accomplice.
They took off towards Dublin on the motorway.
Three people, two men and a woman all in their 20s were later arrested near Clonard, County Meath after ramming a Garda car.
Money and weapons were recovered in the operation.
The suspects are due in court this morning.
