A number of public talks and information sessions are being planned this month about ME or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

Around 12,000 people here are now thought to suffer from ME – with symptoms ranging from flue-like exhaustion, to sore throats, muscle and joint pain, disturbed sleep, poor memory and headaches and dizziness.

A seminar for young people and their parents is taking place on Saturday May 12th at 2pm at the Grand Canal Hotel…..And a public talk by Dr Austin Darragh is being held at the Sandymount Hotel, Herbert Road, on Saturday May 26th at 3pm.
