Larry Hagman, the man who played JR in Dallas, has died.
The actor, who was 81, lost his battle with throat cancer at a hospital in the US.
He had long been in bad health -suffering from cirrhosis of the liver in the 1990s after decades of drinking.
TV soap Dallas first hit our screens back in 1978 but Larry will be best remembered for his portrayal of the mega-rich villain and the gripping ‘who shot JR?’ story-line in the 1980s.
