There was a comprehensive victory for Sunderland in the Premier League as Martin O’Neill’s Black Cats thumped Paul Lambert’s  Norwich City 3-0 at the Stadium of Light.

Fraizer Campbell, Stephane Sessegnon and a Robert Ayala own goal for the winners.

It finished 2-2 at Aston Villa as QPR raced into a two goal lead through Djibril Cisse and a Stephen Warnock own goal but the home side roared back in the second half to draw level with goals from Darren Bent and Charles N’Zogbia.
Blackburn Rovers paid the penalty for a missed David Dunn spot kick as Newcastle won 2-0 at Ewood Park through a Scott Dann own goal and a late Gabriel Obertan effort.
Fulham’s Clint Dempsey and West Brom’s Somen Tchoyi exchanged goals as it ended 1-1 at Craven Cottage while Bolton Wanderers and Arsenal played out a scoreless draw.
