Kerry have named 7 of the team which started September’s All-Ireland final against Dublin for Saturday night’s National League opener at Croker. Kieran Donaghy takes the captain’s armband, in Colm Cooper’s absense. Tomas O’Sea, Paul Galvin and Darran O’Sullivan all start. Pat Gilroy names his Dublin team in the morning.

Meanwhile, 8 Derrytresk players have been banned for next week’s All Ireland Junior club final. It follows the fiery scenes that marred their semi-final win over Dromid Pearses. Tyrone side Derrytresk have also been hit with a 5 thousand euro fine. Dromid Pearses have had three players suspended and been hit with a 2 thousand euro fine.
