An Army Bomb Disposal Team has made safe a viable grenade, explosives and replica weapons in Dublin this evening.

The items were found at an outbuilding in the Distillery Loft Apartments, on Distillery Rd in Drumcondra.

There was no need for any controlled explosions though – the scene was declared safe after several hours.
