Lightning is striking twice for some of the residents of Priory Hall.

The City Council says the apartment complex where they were offered accommodation needs repair work amid fire safety concerns.

The problems, affecting around a quarter of the properties in Belmayne, were discovered while work was being done to fix a burst water pipe.

The local authority has issued a statement saying work is expected to be completed within three months and residents will be offered alternative accommodation.
