The Taoiseach says Ireland’s economic crisis is not the fault of the Irish people.
Enda Kenny’s been responding to criticism of remarks he made at The World Economic Forum yesterday, blaming the collapse of our economy on a ‘mad borrowing frenzy’ as part of a system that spawned greed.
Opposition parties criticised his comments, calling them outrageous, but Government ministers and TDs today defended Mr. Kenny.
Speaking on TV3 News this evening the Taoiseach Enda Kenny himself made it clear Developers, Bankers and the Government are to blame for Ireland’s economic woes.
