With Shane Long almost certain to miss out of the Republic of Ireland’s Euro 2012 play-off with Estonia next month there’s at last some positive injury news for Giovanni Trapattoni. Robbie Keane was back on the training pitch yesterday, a sooner than expected return after his abductor muscle strain. It looks likely that he’ll make his return for LA Galaxy this weekend – they’re involved in the MLS play-offs. Ireland are off to Talinn for the first leg on November 11th.
