David Hasselhoff has revealed that he has no intentions of competing in the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, despite what rumours are saying.

It was hinted online last week that the former Sons of Anarchy star would be the Netherlands entry in the singing competition next year.
Hasselhoff told The Hollywood Reporter that he wasn’t aware of any agreements made for him to take the stage in Azerbaijan.

“I think Eurovision is a fantastic platform for singers and songwriters to establish careers and make a name for themselves,” Hasselhoff explained.

“There are some amazing talents that come from this, and I wish them well, but I would never enter this competition as it would be unfair.”
