One Direction got mobbed last week in Tesco when they arrived to sign copies of their album, Up all Night.  Thousands of screaming girls turned up and bedlam ensued. One Directions tour manager told me a girl was ripping his shirt trying to get close to Harry, Louis, Zayn, Niall and Liam. Other girls were seen jumping on top of cars trying to get close to their heroes.

I caught up with the boys ahead of their performance on the late late and they told 98fm they loved the hysteria they witnessed at their signing….
