100,000 people are expected to line the Liffey this Bank Holiday weekend as Dublin Port puts on its fifth Riverfest in the docklands.

Taking place between the Samuel Beckett Bridge and the 3Arena from June 3rd -5th, Riverfest offers entertainment and activities for all the family, and admission is free.

Eight Tall Ships will dock along North Wall Quay from Friday June 2nd at 1pm and will be open to the public over the weekend.

The ThunderCats power boats will be headlining the event with their first ever Dublin performance. The group, which is described as "one of the world's most exhilarating water sports, with boats flying up to six metres in the air", will be racing four times daily over the weekend.

There will also be jet pack demonstrations, and water sports such as stand up paddle boarding, sailing and kayaking. Along the banks of the Liffey there will be food markets, a funfair, zip lines and rock climbing.

For the first time at Riverfest, there will be a Drive-in cinema, which will use the world's biggest mobile LED screen to show retro classics like Finding Nemo, Back to the Future and Jaws.
